  • When homework is not completed a note of explanation signed by Parent/Guardian should be sent to the teacher in the pupils journal.

  • Reading with children.

  1. 6.                  How should Parents monitor homework?
  • Parents should check the journal every evening, ensuring the child ticks each item of homework when completed.

  • Information and letters to Parents will be placed in the journal.  Please check for notes on a regular basis.

  1. When should Parents communicate with teachers about homework?
  • If the child has a problem with homework, please put a note in the journal.
